Light Fixture Review

I ordered a light fixure and it was damaged ,I have been trying to get a refund for 70 days they keep saying they have fixed it after 5 calls this is redicious, dont buy nothing.

Poor quality item...

I ordered a Chest of Drawers, and I was not pleased with the quality. Needless to say, I was extremely upset because this was my 2nd purchase and neither was what I expected. Nonetheless, I called the company and was given prompt, professional, and friendly service, which really took the *** and sting out of my disappointment in the piece of funiture. I was told that I would receive a full refund and asked if I would be responsible for half of the return shipping cost, which I agreed to. I was sent a return label with the RMA# on it and instructions for the return. I called UPS and set a date for the pick up. I repackaged the item, making sure all parts were returned to the "original box" shipped in, along with the insturctions of how to put it together. I added packing bubbles to feel in empty spaces because I could not pack it exactly as it was originally, and I wanted to make sure pieces did not shift around and get damaged. I took pictures of every step and the box after I had sealed it, making sure every edge was taped securely and the return label was applied. The package was received in the warehouse on 04/07/2015, and I called ATG and spoke with Diana H., who was just as friendly, professional, and prompt in her care of my concerns. She informed me that I would be receiving a total cost, minus $15 for shipping, and I should receive it in 2 - 3 business days. She informed me that she would make a note to keep track of it and if I had any more concerns to please call her back. At that time she gave me her personal extension where she could be reached at the company. The service I received each time I called concerning the return of the Chest was handled with friendly, professional, and prompt service. Though, I was not pleased with the quality of the product, the service was top notch and A1. As grandpa use to say, "Everything was hundadory!!" I also spoke with Anthony, one of the supervisor's, very pleasant and professional. Service is something that is lacking today. Therefore, when I receive excellent service, I feel the people who give it should be recommended and appreciated!! I WILL DEFINITELY DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!

Caution Ordering from ATG

Be cautious in ordering from this company.  I ordered lights for my entertainment room. I ordered in December 13, December 23rd out of stock, notified company, ship date February 15th, Feb 27th, March 18th.   I plan on notifying my credit card to resolve this problem.  I have been reading other reviews that say they have the same problems with this company, don't be a victim! Lowes is part of ATG and needs to pay more attention to their customer service. It is much easier to order from a more reputable company. I haven't had this much trouble receiving a product that I can ever remember.

Poor return policy

Purchased this through Google shopping. I purchased a California Air Compressor model 2075A from ATG stores.

ATG sent an incorrect item, which while looked alike, was inferior becuase it had a steel tank and not a lightweight aluminum one. I contacted ATG and told them the problem and they said that only the manufacture could issue the return label. But I never received one. Finally contacted the manufacturer and they said that ATG stores is authorized to do the return ATG customer service acted as if they never did a return before?

Customer was provide incorrect information and would not do the return. What a run around which is why they deserve this rating. Had to file a paypal claim and go through the manufacturer.

Fortunately the manufacture acted responsibly and exchanged it. I could have bought this on Amazon and should have.

ATG sells broken material and will not stand behind their product. When you call them the act like your are *** and it takes talking to the mfg to get anyone to understand that items were missing and broken. Even after pictures to ATG and the mfg contacting ATG, ATG sti made it impossible to return the items for a refund. ATG went thru all the motions to act like they were processing the return just to return the broken items to me claiming they could not accept the return bc the parts were not in the original plastic for the packaging material. Seriously? We didn't just change our mind and want an exchange we just wanted the original product we ordered. Not their incomplete and inadequate piece of ***. OK and by the way I've been a plumber for 40 years and I think I know when a faucet is incomplete. I started plumbing in Beverly Hills with high end products paying up to 1000 bucks a faucet. The sad thing is, is ATG could have also gotten a full credit by the mfg who agreed it was their error. BUT ATG is so lazy they refused to process the return. They got their money and trust me that's the last dime they we ever get from me or any of my 40 years worth of plumbing contractor buddies money.

"ATG sells broken material"

I totally agree with the above comment. I think that is their scam buying and selling returned items from the manufacturers.

I ordered a piece of furniture on 11/15/14 only because it was "in stock ready to ship". Great I will have it in time for my Thanksgiving Dinner/Party. ATG charged my credit card on 11/16/14. I kept getting "Expected Ship Date Delayed" notices soon after.

Gee wasn't it in stock and ready to ship? Well it finally arrived on 12/5/14 via FedEx. The box was wrapped in shipping plastic wrap to hold it together. Pieces of the furniture were hanging out.

Instead of refusing it I took a chance that all of the pieces were in the box. Oh they were but they were cracked, scratched, chipped, with screws missing from hinges, and the top had deep groove in it. I will fix/patch it up later maybe for Christmas. Funny why I said they sell returned items...someone used a brown magic market to try and cover one of the chips on the top of the piece.

How is that done if the box if the product is new and sealed?

Oh yeah I had to give the FedEx guy a $20 to help me get it up my stairs. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ATG!!!

Console Table So Awful - Will Never Buy from Dorel or ATG Again

Ordered a coffee-colored console table. Was skeptical of buying it because it was inexpensive ($59.40) and I figured the quality would leave something to be desired. But since it's nearly impossible to find a table with those exact dimensions, I ordered it. Big mistake. Here are the problems: (1) the assembly instructions for the drawer are incorrect – they instruct the plastic drawer glide be put on upside down!; (2) When installed proper side up, the drawer would not slide in at all because the wooden glider was fatter than the plastic guide – so I got out tools and planed the wood to make it smaller, then used sandpaper to try to smooth it all out; although we got the drawer in, it the fit is still so tight that it's unusable; (3) stickers on the legs that read "F" and clearly show when the table is assembled would not come off so I soaked them olive oil and applied heat from a hair dryer (to loosen the glue) and was able to scrape them off with my fingernail -- in the process the hairdryer got too hot and shorted out so that is now in the junk pile; (4) when scraping the labels off, my fingernail scraped off some of the cheap stain, so I had to use a Guardsman furniture touch-up pencil to cover the marks, which was only partially successful; (5) almost forgot to mention – holes were missing where screws were to be inserted so I had to get out my electric drill to create holes that the instruction seem to suggest should have been there; and, (6) the *** came with a bolt already screwed in, and someone forced it in; it was difficult to take it apart to allow for insertion onto the drawer front, and how I managed to do that without stripping the bolt remains a mystery, oh, and I was only able to get the bolt back in with some help from WD-40. The piece is from dhpfurniture.com, a division of Dorel Industries Inc. Effective with this purchase, I'm creating a file called "Never buy from these people again," and Dorel and ATG are on it as of today. Finally, I'll sell the table at my next garage sale. Be lucky if I get $5 for it.

Talked into ordering from ATG by a Lowes employee-what a joke!

Don't order from this company! Advertise items as in stock knowing they are not.

Charge your credit card the day you order. Took two months to get something that was listed as in stock. Would not return e-mails or phone calls. Gave four delivery promises with an invalid tracking number.

Would place item on back order after giving delivery promises without telling me. Shipped item without assembly instructions, promised to e-mail them to me and I never received the instructions. I usually order from Wayfair, at least they seem to be honest about not having something in stock.

I still would have ordered them item. Overall the the experience with ATG Stores was exhausting and frustrating.

ATG lied to me five times

I ordered a Caribbean Sun Box from ATG and it didn't work. I called to return it. Three times. Received emails but no address for return and was told by at least three operators, as well as someone on chat, that I would have to wait until Caribbean issued me labels. The email I received from ATG received NO address for return. Finally talked to Caribbean just now and he will take the item back and get my credit and money back for me. He was very nice. He said, "they are pulling your leg." I guess this is just standard procedure, to LIE. I got the box on Dec. 4 and have been waiting over 20 days. Lying is no way to do business, especially on the internet. I will never order anything from this company again.

I purchased 2 of these lights for a bathroom remodel. They both came lightly tarnished right out of the box. But the electrician was scheduled and I didn't have time to get new lights. I contacted both Lowes and PLC/ATG requesting just 8 new bolt covers (polished brass) as they should have been. It has been well over a year, several shipments back and forth and I now have 4 (enough for one light) all the others came badly tarnished or the wrong size and wouldn't even screw onto the bolts that hold the glass covers on. To date I have one nice looking light and one *** looking one and they are mounted side by side over sinks.

Terrible Customer Service

I had a merchandise credit that I wanted to use towards my new purchase of lights. I found a lower price at two different online and physical stores. They say they will price match it but they really don't want to. They tried to tell me that the free shipping that the other sites were offering was only until the end of the month. It was early in the month when I was placing my order with them. They wanted to charge me for shipping even though they offer free shipping themselves. Then they finally agreed to price match but told me I couldn't use my credit. I threatened to go to my charge card company to get a credit applied to my charge and then they called back and said they made a mistake I could get the price match and use my credit. Unfortunately they still billed my credit card for the full amount of my purchase and didn't apply the merchandise credit. I sent ATG several emails and called them but they never corrected the matter. I ended up disputed the charge with my charge card company and received the credit back from them. ATG has the worst customer service of any company I have ever done business with. They always have to check with someone before they can process an order or answer a question. Then they don't even do what they say they are going to do. Will never do business with them again! Good bye ATG stores and your terrible customer service. I will shop elsewhere

Ordered 6 Somerton Dwelling 138A43 Signature Bicast Arm Dining Chair, Dark

They come in packages of two. I assembled 5 of them before noticing the sixth one had a damaged leg. I immediately contacted them, took a picture to send to them. They said they would replace it. However, the company they are supposedly dealing with will not send out the back of the chair (that is all I need to complete the final chair) until December 18. All they have to do is open a box, send a non-damaged back of the chair and I can be done with them. However, ATG keeps blaming the vendor they are dealing with and is taking no responsibility at all. ATG is a subsidiary of Lowes. So, I will no longer be shopping at Lowes or any of their subsidiaries forever. It is sad that I could have ordered the same thing from Amazon and Amazon replaces items ASAP, but ATG or Lowes does not do anything to service its customers. These companies then wonder why consumers leave them and no longer purchase. There are other companies and more reliable ones that ATG/Lowes to deal with. If you ever think of buying something from either of them, look to Amazon to see if they carry the same merchandise, they send out replacements even before you send back the items AND they email labels so you send the items back at their expense.

Wrong item delivered

I purchased a recliner from ATG stores and had a problem with the merchandise not being the correct size. The item on the website was listed as it was delivered and turned out to be in the incorrect chair. The chair on the website reported the measurements to be 40W x 41H x 37B when the chair arrived upon closer inspection the chair measured to be 34W x 36H x 33B. We called the next day and reported the discrepancies and were told by the customer representative Brian that that 40W x 41H x 37B was the size reported on the website and we should send pictures showing the measurement of the chair. We did so, and were told they would arrange to have the product picked up and that in order to receive credit for the merchandise the chair would have to be inspected and measured at the return destination. A gentlemen showed in a station wagon with no identification stating he was here to measure the chair and not pick it up. He measured the chair in front of us not at the destination as stated, purported the measurements to be 34W x 36W which is the measurement we measured in our pictures and are not the measurements stated on the website. In one day we were sent an email stating that the completed return, RMA #348158 is being issued a credit to my credit card for Return shipping and a restocking fee. The email also says to refer to the Return Policy. I called Brian the customer service representative I had been dealing with I told him once again that the measurements were incorrect and he stated he would speak with the company and would get back to me and I have not herd from him. Included in this is a warranty I am very dissatisfied the way this matter has been handled.

Air conditioner frame broken

Due to the sun in the window, the frame which holds the vent hose at the window deformed and will no longer keep the exhaust hose attached. what can be done to remedy this situation? The air conditioner works as stated and is a fine product but the attaching window panels leave a lot to be desired. Once I have described the complaint I see no reason to ramble on just to make this statement add up to one hundred words. This makes no since at all, but if that is what is required then so be it. thank you very much for letting me ramble on and on and on and on.

Poor customer care, return are big hassle to discourage you from returning anything

Bottom line, dont do buiseness with this company ... They dragged their feet for a return, i had to speak to 4 differentpeople and chat online 3 times, all because of incorrect or incomplete return authorization...finally, when i requested pf who are the people who processed my return the first time, the reply was .... We dont know.... No accountability and just lies ... When the return authorization came, it didnt specify which items are in each, i bought different items, the returns are all to different manufactureres....this company just transmits your order to other parties and the return is pain in the neck ... I will never buy from them nor from lowes who lack the insight to buy such a company nor the supervision to check hat are they doing....stay with home depot

I ordered a Queen 4 poster cedar bed from ATG..Every piece in 3 boxes is damaged and cracked...I called and they said to sent pictures and I did and they will not return my money or replace the bed...so it cost me $649.98 plus shipping for a 3 boxes of cracked fake cedar post...They are a scam and a middle man... Avoid them at all cost....I have called many times and have sent pic's also...I asked just to have the bed replaced and they will not do so...I wish I would have seen the reviews before I ordered this bed
